Abstract : The marketing of R&D projects proposes methods of adapting the technological offer to a market not yet in existence, as the technical innovation to be launched at the end of the R&D project will cause a disturbance to the existing market. We will first examine the different phases of the R&D marketing approach: 1- internal analysis (construction of the "marketing specifications") 2- external analysis (surveys of industrialists after market segmentation) 3- exploitation (R&D action plan proposal, preparation for introducing the innovation in the segment(s) of the market concerned) 4- refreshing (updating of the study after a few months). We will then discuss the first results obtained after a 5- month study into the marketing of the CIRAD-Cemagref project dealing with the development of immersion treatment processes to improve the quality of frozen materials.
