Résumé (autre langue) : The virus diseases of banana discussed in this chapter are either of economic importance or represent a risk during the exchange of plant material for germplasm collections and breeding programmes. The diseases are banana bunchy top, banana mosaic, banana streak, and banana bract mosaic. The brief descriptions of the diseases include recent research findings on the pathogens. Control measures are also discussed.
