Résumé : So the European Commission started the process. A few days after making public its new proposal for the reform of the common market organisation (CMO) of banana and fearing that the Latin American plaintiffs might play for time, it requested the WTO arbitrators to take a decision on its own proposal. This started a 30-day period that should lead to an arbitrators' decision by 26 October 2005.
