Titre anglais : Chemical control of cotton "ramulose" (Colletotrichum gossypii var. cephalosporioides) and cotton rust Ramularia (Ramularia areola in Mato Grosso State

Résumé : In order to test the effectiveness of active ingredients and blends used by cotton growers to control "ramulose" and cotton rust ramularia, a trial was conducted at COODETEC's experimental station in Primavera do Leste, state of Math Grosso, during the 2003-2004 growing period. CD 407 was the variety utilized, and the randomized bloc design approach with 4 repetitions, lots of 4 rows and 5 meters was also used. Two inoculations of "Ramulose" were carried out by means of isolates of Colletotrichum gossypii, var. cephalosporioides and infestation of cotton rust Ramularia took place naturally. Applications were made with an interval of 15 days, and the first application was made just after inoculation. The following products were used: carbendazim, tin fentin hydroxide, azoxystrobin, trifloxistrobin, propiconazol, pyraclostrobin, methoxy carbamate, carbendazin, tebuconazol, pyrazothos, methyl thiophanate, metiram, piraclostrobin, epoxiconazol, and cyproconazol. All treatments showed statistical differences from the check variety, and treatment 11 was the one with the highest control rate for both "Ramulose" and Cotton rust Ramularia. Treatment 11 is as follows: 1st application: carbendazin + tin fentin hydroxide; 2nd application: trifloxistrobina + propiconazol; 3rd application: carbendazin + tin fentin hydroxide; and 4th application: trifloxistrobina + propiconazol.
