Résumé : DEVAG-UNICA project is developed between the Regional Research Polo agronomy and environment of Martinique (PRAM), specifically the Centre for International Cooperation in Agronomic Research for Development (CIRAD) and the University "Maximo Gomez Baez" Ciego de Avila in under funding from the INTERREG IV CARAIBES 2007-2013. This project develops six fundamental tasks: (1) Forage potential weed species in fruit coverage, (2) optimization of the load on the fruit-plant association-sheep coverage, (3) alternative substance to achieve aversive conditioning sheep to branches of fruit, (4) alternative method to reduce the use of conventional parasite in sheep integrated fruit agro-ecosystems, (5) Dynamics of decomposition of excreta and stubble in the soil and its impact on the agro-ecosystem, and (6) Training of farmers. They have so far nine top research-training and in subsequent stages, to assess management methods to increase, harmoniously, charging integrated sheep orchards using aversive conditioning and other selection methods food; also envision alternatives for the control of gastrointestinal nematodosis this animal species, thereby reducing imports of producing antiparasitic chemicals. These results provide an opportunity to increase the population of sheep in the province and other regions. Animal husbandry enable fruit integrated employment opportunities, especially for rural women, best in the work of shepherds in the world. (Résumé d'auteur)
