Résumé : This second 6 monthly progress report is a summary of the implementation activity and progress of the LAO-ADS Industrial Tree Plantation Project. The project implementation consultant CIRAD-Foret in association with MIDAS Agronomics and Burapha Development Consultants are assisting the Department of Forestry of the Lao PDR. This second report covers the period of 6 months from 1 January 1996 to 30 June 1996. This document reports on ; progress, problems and status of the project implementation over the last 6 months ; strength of PCU, PPCU, specialists and local support staff ; specialists activities, inputs and time provided over the last 6 months ; consultant's expendature over the last 6 months and since start of project ; implementation input work sheets of each specialist for the next 6 months. During the last 6 months operations have followed the activity schedules of the Implementation Report for all operations with no significant deviations except for the roading operations . These will finish three and one half months later than originally scheduled in the Inception Report.
