Résumé : An architecture description was carried out on two morphotypes of Phoenix dactylifera L. bred in Italy. The observations took place in San Remo and on two pairs of palms both from adult palm trees and offshoots. A statistical checking of relationships between the characteristic parameters in terms of vegetative aerial architecture of the date palms was done. This allows to implement a new measurement protocol for computing and simulating realistic 3D models. The architectural analysis of the morphotypes showed that the distribution of characteristic parameter values of pinnae are the outcome of a regionalized variable along the main nerve. The vertical angles and rotation angles of pinnae are correlated. These analyses, compared with those of a similar study conducted in Tunisia, provide information on the characteristics of Phoenix dactylifera L. morphotypes cultivated in Italy. (Texte intégral)
