1996. Etude de la variabilité de nouveaux isolats du Peanut Clump Virus (PCV) du Sénégal.
In : Première conférence internationale de virologie et de microbiologie. Société camerounaise de microbiologie, IUMS
Résumé : Recent studies on Peanut Clump Virus in West Africa demonstrated its extreme variability (Manohar et al, Virology 1995, 195, 33-41 and Manohar et al, J. Phytopathology, 143, 233-238). Surveys conducted in Senegal in 1990 and 1992 enabled us to detect PCV on irrigated fields by the Senegal river and in Fatick region. Symptomatological and serological characterization was undertaken on 26 new isolates, 5 of which were from the Senegal river. Three new serogroups were identified, compared with those established by Manohar et al. This result confirms the high variability of PCV.
