Résumé : Le nombre des innovations enregistrées au cours de cette dernière manifestation est le reflet du dynamisme de la modernisation agricole. Bien que la plupart de ces progrès soit le prolongement de tendances amorcées depuis plusieurs années, on relève, en 1973, des modifications profondes de certaines conceptions, notamment celles sur la forme du labour, la structure du tracteur, la portance des engins de transport, la manutention au champ et l'irrigation. L'agriculture poursuit donc sa mutation et s'apparente de plus en plus à une industrie où l'agronome doit se doubler ou s'effacer devant l'économiste et le technicien.

Résumé (autre langue) : The number of innovations noted during this latest Show reflect the dynamism of agricultural modernisation. Although most of these advances are the extension of tendencies which began several years ago, in 1973 we :find profound modifications of certain concepts, in particular those concerning the form of ploughing, the structure of the tractor, the bearing surface of transport equipment, handling in the field and irrigation. Agriculture is thus pursuing its mutation and becoming more and more an industry where the agriculturalist needs to be an all-round man or give way before the economist and the technician.
