Résumé : Following a drop in the effectiveness of insecticides used against cocoa tree mirids, so-called WHO and LD50 tests were carried out in central and southern Cameroon in order to monitor the development of mirid strains with pesticide tolerance. In the "suspected" zones, bioassays were combined with control treatments in the field at increasing doses. The purpose of the experiment was to correlate the results obtained in two different situations. A comparative study of the regression lines, obtained for Lindane 320 and Bassa 50 provided a better idea of how the pesticides work.
