Résumé : Since 1982, the 'Laboratoire de Technologie Cotonnière'of CIRAD CA is part of the 'International Calibration Cotton Standard Committee as representative of the 'International Textile Manufacturer Federation. Thus, we learn about the latest informations concerning the international standardization of some measurement methods.A small historic view is given and their possible effect on the measurements of fiber characteristics.
