Résumé : This study was carried out to improve some characters in 3 rice cultivars with mutation breeding at Trakya Agricultural Research Institute during 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999. Seeds of Baldo, Rocca and psala rice varieties were treated with Co 60 at 25 kR and 30 kR gamma rays. As a result of selection studies; dwarf, semidwarf and translucent grain type lines were obtained from Rocca mutants, and semidwarf and dwarf lines were obtained from Baldo and psala mutants.
