Résumé : In the 1980s, cereal farmers working in small to medium-sized plots had no access to suitable equipment for harvesting their crops. The CIRAD grain stripper was specially designed to meet these needs in developing countries. Several machines were built on the basis of a novel threshing concept and then successfully tested in Africa and Asia. This paper reviews the results obtained.
