Résumé : Bacteria-like organisms (BLO's) were found in the sieve tubes of Wentan pomelo leaves associated with entire patches of interveinal decoloration called chequered mottling. The BLO's displayed the characterictics of Huanglungbin (Greening) organism. This observation was made on adults pomelo trees showing relatively mild symptoms, but having lost their productivity. The disease seems to have appeared recently on this type of citrus, and interveinal decolorations are presumably linked to cool subtropical areas, since they were also found on Satsumas and Ougan mandarins.
