Résumé : The survey on the parasitic complex of Diaphorina citri Kuwayama and the programmes for the biological control of this citrus psyllid have been recently considered in several countries of the Asian-Pacific region. However a correct identification of the parasites is essential for the successful definition of strategies. Recently, it was shown for example that the potential success in biological control of citrus red scale in California was delayed for over half a century because of the misidentification of its natural enemies (Rosen & De Bach, 1973). Up to now, more than 15 species of the parasites associated with D. citri have been recorded in the Asian-Pacific region. Unfortunately, the tiny bodies (less than 2 mm) of these parasites make it difficult for the non-specialist to identify and distinguish them. The present illustrated guide aims to help the non-taxonomist with such identifications through brief descriptions of the more common parasites associated with Diaphorina citri.
