Résumé : This study aims at assessing the economic value of mulch in agronomic performances of Northern Cameroon cotton based cropping systems. It also provides arguments addressing Conservation Agriculture based on Direct-seeding Mulch-based Cropping systems' adoption, related to its direct agro economic returns on plot scale. DMC applied to cereal/cotton rotation is designed in a way that mulch production is ensured through cover crop combination with cereal the first year, while the next year cotton is produced on mulch.
