Résumé : shrubs and trees control weeds by shading. The system have similarities with "jungle rubber" widely practiced by smallholders therefore, RAS 1 is expected to be easily adopted by farmers. The promotion and conservation of local biodiversity in the system is an additional advantage giving rubber an environment-friendly crop label.
