Titre anglais : State of progress of citrus nucellar selection in Corsica
Résumé : The plants issued from nucel/ar embryos of polyembryos of polyembryonie citrus varieties are on the one hand of the same genetic type as the mother-tree and on the other hand usually free virus and mycoplasma. Presently 2000 plants issued from seeds are under study in Corsica among which 121 subjects representing 31 varieties were "preselected" between the 4th and 7th year after grafted trees were planted. A period of 9 to 13 years from the seeds is necessary for the nucellar selection of the nucel/ar selection of the best sujects. The main difficulty sometimes encountered is the existence of persistent, accentuated, undesirable juvenile characters.
