Résumé : This mission was essentially devoted to the entomological aspects of Cape Saint Paul Wilt disease, also known as "Western Region Coconut disease", which is a type of coconut lethal yellowing associated with a mycoplasma. Hereafter, we shall refer to this disease as LY. During the visit, a Homoptera Cixiidae type insect was seen in the new LY focus at Ayensudu, in the central region. This insect has now been identified as Myndus adiopodoumeensis described as being from Côte d'Ivoire, a country where LY does not occur, and also known in Nigeria.
