Titre anglais : The DeSIRAs in Senegal, a response to the challenges of the NAIS

Résumé : Le projet DISSEM-INN a développé un cadre d'analyse pour caractériser la démarche d'innovation propre aux projets DESIRA - intitulée DeSI (Dévelopment Smart Innovation) - mettant en évidence des principes partagés pour atteindre l'impact, à savoir : une approche multi-acteurs, en co-construction et multidimensionnelle. Cette analyse a servi de base à l'organisation d'un atelier national au Sénégal, objet de cette note, dont l'objectif était d'identifier des pistes pour un changement d'échelle de cette approche d'innovation DeSI au niveau national. L'accent a été mis sur la contribution des projets DeSIRA opérant au Sénégal au Système National d'Innovation Agricole (SNIA). Cette note montre également comment la mise en oeuvre de cette approche DeSI par les DeSIRA opérant au Sénégal permet de répondre aux défis systémiques du SNIA sénégalais.

Résumé (autre langue) : The DISSEM-INN project developed an analytical framework to characterise the innovation approach specific to DESIRA projects - entitled DeSI (Dévelopment Smart Innovation) - showing shared principles for achieving impact, namely: a multi-actor, co-construction and multi-dimensional approach. This analysis served as the basis for the organisation of a national workshop in Senegal, the subject of this note, the aim of which was to identify ways of scaling up this DeSI innovation approach at national level. The focus was on the contribution of DeSIRA projects operating in Senegal to the National Agricultural Innovation System (NAIS). This note also shows how the implementation of this approach makes it possible to respond to the systemic challenges of the Senegalese NAIS.
