Résumé : A new species of troolobitic Cixiidae (Hemiptera: Fufgoromorpha), Brixia brialin. sp. is described from a lava tube on La Reunion Island. Information on its ecology, distribution, and comments on its tentative systematic placement into the genus Brixia is provided.The new discovery from La Reunion is placed into the context of cavernicolous Fulgoromorpha of the world, their zoogeography, ecology and biology.
