Résumé : The citrus-fruit family is the global leader in fruit production, and comprises a vast, extremely-diversified universe, not only from the geographical perspective of production, but in its range of products and their various applications. The market for juice (particularly orange juice) at the world level is structurally difficult since it no longer has any real global rating. Global prices are very low. As far as the fresh-fruit market is concerned (more precisely, the market of the EU and the largest production area, the Mediterranean basin), the 2019-2020 season has been beneficial for the sector by enabling it to recover gently from the intense crisis experienced in 2018-2019.
