1998. Genetic diversity study of nine cocoa populations using RAPD.
In : Malaysian International Cocoa Conference. 3
Autre titre : Etude de la diversité génétique par RAPD de neuf populations de cacaoyers
Résumé : A genetic diversity analysis was performed on 133 cocoa clones, representing 9 populations present in the ICG,T (International Cocoa Genebank, Trinidad), using 39 RAPD markers. Most of the genetic diversity was found within populations, rather than among them. The population from French Guiana (GU) was found very clearly separated from all the other ones studied. To a lesser estent, IMC and NA were fairly separated from the other upper amazon Forastero and Refractario populations under study.
