Résumé : Fresh or processed, pineapple is found all over the world. Nearly two pineapples in five are sold on the international market, with canned fruits and juice accounting for 80 percent of the total. Fresh pineapple is in a strong growth phase. Imports exceed a million tonnes and there are no signs of a change in trend. Driven by the multiplication of origins and strong segmentation, demand should increase in the coming years.
