Résumé : This specific reports aims at presenting DNA analysis for clonal identity checking, as well as proposals and the results of one series of 96 DNA analyses of samples collected from Cambodia during the mission (Crri, Chup, Krek, Royal Caoutchouc). These results are presented as an example of what could be carried out with Cirad for the certification of "reference budwood gardens" or for the publication of a list of budwood gardens from the private sector which successfully pass a quality test. Cirad proposes to address the checking of the 123 units of budwood gardens of the private sector (smallholders), of more than 0.20 ha, which make 90 % of the total. Based on 3 samples per unit, a total of 369 analyses should be carried out in priority. This would allow one to identify the budwood gardens of good quality (no mistake found among three samples), and would provide an accurate evaluation of the global budwood garden quality in the private sector. Further development should then be considered.
