Résumé : Context. Accurate understanding and prediction of mosquito population dynamics are needed to optimize surveillance and control of mosquito-borne diseases. Modelling approaches are complementary to experimental and observational studies to provide appropriate simulation tools for supporting decision-making. Objective. The main objective of this study was the development of an operational predictive tool designed to map mosquito populations from environmental and meteorological data, taking the example of Aedes albopictus in Reunion Island, vector of viruses responsible for Chikungunya and dengue fever.
