For more than half a century, agricultural spaces have been—and continue to be—profoundly transformed by the combined evolution of agriculture and the agrifood sector. With the modernisation of agriculture and the rise of agrifood firms, a profit-oriented logic has gradually taken hold, profoundly changing our relationship with the land and living organisms, with local society, with work and with food.
