Bichard Anne. 2002. Sorghum and millet consumption patterns in the Limpopo Province of South Africa : Qualitative survey in urban area (Polokwane). Montpellier : CIRAD-AMIS, 59 p.
Résumé : The following report presents the results of a qualitative survey of the consumption of sorghum and millet in a town in the Limpopo Province (formerly Northern Province) in South Africa. A partnership between CIRAD (Centre International de Recherche Agronomique pour le Développement) and CSIR (Council for Scientific and Industrial Research) has been established to study the consumption of traditional cereals in the Limpopo province. The consumption in rural areas has already been assessed and a quantitative survey was also implemented in Polokwane (biggest city of Limpopo Province and formerly called Pietersburg) at the end of June 2002. The present qualitative survey is a complement to this quantitative survey.
